Crazy thought:

Anyone think that the ever growing slug thing in "Meat" will have any connection with Jack becoming the Face of Boe?

The creature had a bit of a similar feel Boe to it if you ask me.
Maybe Jack gets hungry one night and eats a bit of the meat. Some of the "growing" juice gets in to his system. Then every time he dies his face gets a bit bigger!

I did think it was slightly strange how upset he got over it..it was a bit out of character for jack!

That is a hillarious thought! It would make a good comedy sketch!

Interesting theory, but you wouldn't want Jack's face to grow now! He'd lose his good looks

I think all this talk about eating slugs is just damned insensitive and out of order.

And by the way some of us may feel that turning a bit more slug-like would improve Jack's looks.

All I'm asking for is a bit of tolerance. We're all different but equal.

i was instantly reminded of the face of boe when i saw the eye open.

Perhaps it will turn out that the "space whale"* was the face of boe's pet/wife/husband (delete where appropriate)
