Just got a PVR80 (ebuyer £45 deal), but find that the picture occasionally freezes for a fraction of a second or so, occurs randomly but on average maybe twice an hour.

I have 3 other digital tuners in house, all work fine from same aerial distribution amp, as did my previous digi box that this unit has replaced, and signal meter shows as good.

Came with software v5.3 which I understand is latest offical version.

Anyone else seen this on these boxes, or is it faulty (this is the 3rd unit I had from ebuyer, previous 2 had other faults so entirely possible!).

It is the tuner. Unfortunately! it's probably faulty.

They need a very good signal to stop freezing. I had the same symptons like yours but on the Digihome DTR0207.

I returned it and the 2nd one which i still have, it is ok but when i record one channel and watch another i get occasional picture stutter.
