I remember one hilarious 'leaked' spoiler during season one, where a fan had written his own season finale which involved the Doctor and Rose coming face to face with Omega.

The final line was something like 'Rose Tyler, may I introduce you to Omega'. And that was the end of season one. Which was a fairly interesting cliffhanger for people old enough to remember who Omega was, and fanboys of course, but complete pants for anyone else.

I think we can take this 'spoiler' list with a pinch of salt too.

There was an incredible amount of nonsense rumours about season one. I remember how Mark Gatiss' episode was supposed to be set in a spooky mysterious barn guarded by animated scarecrows (well they finally turned up two years later) and Clive from 'Rose' was going to be a money-lender who knew Pete Tyler. He was apparently going to turn up again in the 1987-set 'Father's Day' where it would be revealed that he was somehow involved in Pete's death. Captain Jack was going to be a Victorian Sea Captain, etc (insert your own 'seamen' joke here!). The list is endless!

Although there's a danger in being too dismissive about them. During season one somebody posted a spoiler on OG about how the final two-parter would feature a futuristic Big Brother house, controlled by the Daleks, where the losing contestants would be turned into Daleks themselves.

The idea was universally ridiculed, and the poster had the piss taken out of him mercilessly, until 'Bad Wolf' aired and suddenly his detractors all went very quiet...

Indeed for the majority its speculation and untruths.
