Torchwood Series 3: Capt Jack & The Daleks

For series 3 of Torchwood if Capt Jack is leaving, we could have the daleks as final episode

Something along the line of:

In the sewers an abandoned base is found, which was once occupied by the daleks, but all that remains are empty casings part of the production line

Some workmen find the base, and by accident start the production line, but luckily there is only enough organic material for 3 daleks

So Jack has then top explain to everyone what they are facing

The BBC will never get clearance for the Daleks to appear in Torchwood, can't see it somehow. Terry Nation's estate fought "tooth and claw" (nice pun) about letting the Daleks into the new series and I seem to recall somewhere it wasn't ever going to be possible for Torchwood.

Plus the Daleks are a franchise if you like of Doctor Who and wouldn't fit the mould for Torchwood.

It does seem that some people or aliens from Doctor Who will be making it to Torchwood.

From an interview wirt Burn Gormam

Quote:
“iF: I’ve heard hints that there might be some more DOCTOR WHO crossover villains or characters besides Martha Jones this season. Can you confirm that at all?

GORMAN: I can tell you that there are definitely, it may be for the more obsessive fans, but there are crossovers from DOCTOR WHO. Obviously, there’s Freema [Agyeman] and towards the end of the season there are some, I don’t want to say old friends, but certainly there are some familiar faces, yeah. I would say that. ”

to have them possibly featuring in two series finales seems like overkill to me...and desperation.

The daleks were actually going to be used in series one instead of the Cyberwoman, but because Daleks were so popular with kids they decided not to use them. (Look at the DWM from two christmasses ago in the feature "What we learned this christmas" )

So they must be allowed to use them, if they were considering them in S1

they went on a wild goose chase looking for a Yeti courtesy of The Master so why not have them meet The Yeti.

I can't really see Ianto keeping a former lover turned Dalek in the basement, Jack on the otherhand.

Well BG's* comments do suggest that whatever crosses over will not be all that well known, so could be the Yeti.

Maybe we'll have a Yeti - Weevil showdown in the Sewers.

*Burn Gorman, not Black Guardian.
