PVR-9200T re - external inputs
boydell

Sorry if this has been covered before... but I can't find it!

1. Can I record an external source be it DVD, Sky or VCR input via the scart sockets?

2. Is an output available at the appropriate scart socket at baseband available to record directly to DVDR or VCR?

apologies once again if this is old hat.

Arthur Hopkinson.

1. No, it can only record from its internal twin tuners.
2. There is an output VCR SCART socket (as well as the TV SCART).

Note that only the TV SCART outputs RGB. (Both output composite and S-Video.)
The VCR SCART is always at maximum volume. (The TV SCART volume is controlled by the Humax remote.)
Usually it is best to use the VCR SCART for a VCR and the TV SCART for a DVDR - chaining to the TV.
Many thanks son_t and Max for your help... Arthur.

No problem. You will generally find that twin tuner Freeview PVRs can't record from an external source. You need to get a single tuner DVD recorder (with HDD) to do this...
