Hi wobbley bob,

To answer your questions:

The picture quality is very good on my TV set (a 32" LCD), as someone who has previously used Sky, Ntl (now Virgin) and Freeview, the quality appears just as good to me.

TV works fine when broadband is on as the TV bandwidth is used before any broadband usage. The TV seems to use 1.5 - 2.5 mb bandwidth depending on what you are watching. The remaining bandwidth is then used for broadband ie. I get 6.5 mb broadband with my TV box turned off, but with it on, I get anything from 4mb to 5mb depending on the channel/content I am watching through the TV.

The TV and broadband are both a 12 month contract (with a cooling off period), but there is no contract for the phone.

Tiscali TV is run from the router to the Tiscali Tv set top box which is then run to your tv set.

I think Tiscali TV can save you money compared to Sky's lower end packages. Be aware that if you are interested in Sky Movies there are only 4 channels available, but the Sky Sports package is available in full (except for Sky Sports interactive).

Hope this helps, Paul
