Torchwood BBC3?
Bertypop

After "Adam" on Wednesday, you can switch over to BBC 3 and watch the following episode. Is this the first time they've done it this series, or has it been happening all the time and I've just missed it?

This is the first time they've done it this series, and I'm fairly sure it's just a one off.

I'll probably wait and watch it on BBC2, if I'm honest.

Seems an odd move, seeing as TW was being hailed as a BBC2 programme now. With "first views" on BBC3, it really ceases to be so, and goes back to being a BBC Three programme with a BBC2 repeat a week later.

Very odd.

Is it a two parter?

The RT write-up makes no hint that it is, but I suppose it could be.

No. Reset (ep 6) is the first of the three Martha episodes though.

So what about episode 7 (which also seems to be a first run on BBC3)?

Seven... might be a continuation of six... I really don't have enough information about ep 7, but there's definitely a story arc continuation at the very least.

Spoiler
What's the betting that aforementioned Weevil King is Owen Harper then?

I'm suprised they didn't do preview eps on THREE from the start a al Spooks and Lost. Mind you, it begins to make a mockery of the pre-watershed edits doesn't it... I mean, you might convince a kid to wait 24 hrs but eight days? There's got to be so much opportunity to see it via other means even with the strictest of parents...

According to torchwood.tv:

Spoiler
During the events of "Reset" Owen Harper effectively 'dies' and transforms into a Weevil hybrid. Owen is the aforementioned "Weevil King" and appears as such throughout episodes six, seven and eight - but after that, who knows? Will he transform back into 'human' Owen, or leave the series entirely...?

Personally,
Spoiler
I hope he doesn't die for good. It'll be an interesting side to his character if he can transform agin in future stories

Spoiler
I don't think he will. I think there are a lot of not-so-subtly-dropped hints (anvils, more like) leading up to an Owen/Tosh relationship so I think she will probably do something that will 'rescue' him. I reckon all the main cast will surivive for next year.
