Digihome and cable?

Hi,

Just moved home from where I had a PVR80 with all the channels. Here I find I need to change the aerial and line (£160).

I can get Freeview via Virgin, but would be unable to use my PVR at present and having being spoilt for several months, would prefer to use my PVR.

Is there *any way* I can use my PVR on Virgin cable.?

TIA

Nope.
Virgin cable can only be decoded by a Virgin Media TV decoder box. The PVR80 is not capable of recording anything it receives over Scart connections, so "daisychaining" the boxes won't help either.
If you want PVR type capabilities on Virgin Media you'll have to invest in their V+ box. This means a £150 installation fee (reduced to £75 with some bundles) and an additional monthly fee of £5 (waved if you're on the "top" XL TV package.)

Sorry there's no cheap option

Ok, thanks for that. Guess I'll get the aerial changed, and keep using my VCRs for a few more years.
