Alicia and Kanye were great. Fergie sounded better than she ever has - granted that's not saying a whole lot LOL.

Alicia was fantastic, always is live.
Nice dedication from Kanye, you could see that he was realy into it.
Fergie surprised me with her live vocals, thought she sounded great.
The Tina Turner/Beyonce was ok, was really looking forward to it but kinda felt a little anti-climatic for me. Tina is a legend though!
Amy Winehouse put in a good performance.

Alicia Keys' performance of No One was spectacular. Kanye West was good as well.

Alicia Keys was brilliant as always. She has a great voice. Best performance of the night when she sang No One.

I also liked Kanye West's performance.

Amy Winehouse is smiling, does that means she's sober or high?

I've just been watching this - Tina Turner was great, & to be able to wear that silver outfit at her age (she'll be 69 this year ) was a challenge in itself. Kanye's performance was dramatic, & him singing "Mama" was really touching. I can't stand Carrie Underwwod, so I fast-forwarded through her bit, but Prince still had his "I'm cheeky, & I promise to be dirty too" look about him I'm pleased to say , & Amy put in a really good performance too.

All in all, a great show, only marred by someone being tacky enough to start playing music a few moments into Kanye's acceptance speech. Though he commented on it, they didn't stop, & still kept playing the music even when he was trying to thank his recently-dead mother for her support, to the point where he had to say "It would be good taste to stop the music now" & embarrass them into silence.

Yes - smart as ever, jumping. Forgot to say, Alicia Keys' "No-one" was hauntingly beautiful, largely because of the orchestra.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Grammys- thought it was a very good, varied bunch of musicians. Thought Amy did a sterling job and was shocked to find Kid Rock could sing.

Just switched over to it by mistake and to be honest thought it was better than the BRITS. Every year I always look forward to watching the BRITS only to be really disappointed. THe BRITS tries too hard to be young and hip and always falls flat on its face - and I thought last nights awards (apart from will.i.ams thing at the end) did what a music awards show should do- lots of music, by talented musicians etc.
I am still cant forget the year the BRITS not only made up an award for the Darkness but got them to end of the show (when it should have been Duran as they won the lifetime achievement)..and thats the problem with the BRITS, it panders too much to artists who will probably be not heard of in a years time (although saying that, the support they gave to all those dull musicians over the 80's (Annie Lennox, Phil Collins- zzzz)

I guess it reflects the types of artists that have come out of the US over the last fifty years- me and my other half thought- they have tina turner- who was magnificient- we have lulu- it doesnt compare
