It's a well documented fact that if you enable HDMI on a V+ box, all the other outputs deactivate.

Also, Sling don't have any product that takes a HD from a HDMI lead (they seem to prefer that Component bodge thing).

I would like to be able to Sling me V+ out, and I don't care if it's high def, low def, crappy def and not have to change the settings on me V+ box back and forward from HD to SD all the time.

Because of the OBSCENE cost for HDMI to component (slings preferred connection) adaptors, I was wondering if the below would work;

I know there may be issues with HDCP - but I don't watch PPV anyway and I don't think there are any plans yet for a wholescale swapover.
