Unusual milkshakes (and soya shakes)

Everyone's had a banana, chocolate or strawberry...fresh or powdered...but isn't his a bit limiting?

In Cyprus yonks ago, I had something called rose milkshake. It was to DIE for

I can only guess it was rose food flavouring added to semi-skimmed milk. Either that or a rosehip cordial? Rose syrup?

Anyway, poured over ice on a hot day is lush. I drink soya and goats milk these days and I'm going to hunt for the best product to give it a rosy flavour..and I'll let you know my result.

so, have you ever made a delicious or unusual milkshake or soyashake? Strange ingredients? Milky smoothies? Any tips?

There must be more adventurous flavours to try!

Not so much unusual but I like to bung some maple syrup and usually some ice cream into a blender with the milk to have a tasty maple milkshake mmmm......

Have you tried rose-water? It's lovely. I used to buy it in Boot's.

Theres a chain of milkshake shops called Shakeaways
http://www.shakeaway.com/milkshakes.html

You choose your own mixture of flavours to make whatever you want! I love the Farley's Rusks with Ginger Nuts.
The only limit is your own imagination....

There's a similar one in York. The Reese's Peanut Butter one is fantastic.
