Just thought it would be good if people could post their own ideas of who they think the top 10 players should be. Then we can maybe collate them into some kind of overall list, or something.

Just to clarify - the list should be entirely based on who you feel are the ten 10 best players, not just people you like. So NO CHICKEN GEORGE. Please.

Okay, my thoughts [My bias is weighed more towards later seasons because I remember more about them]...

1. Dr Will (BB2/7) Evil mastermind / genius / best player of all time.
2. Danielle (BB3/7) Very clever lady.
3. Janelle (BB6/7) Maybe not the smartest player ever, but a great all-rounder and fantastic in the comps.
4. James (BB6/7) Very sneaky, clever, and great at comps.
5. Maggie (BB6) Successful cult leader
6. Danielle Donato (BB8) The brains behind the Donato alliance, and good at the comps too. Such a shame she's still a whiny little BITCH.
7. Alison (BB4/7) The ultimate FLOATER. Very good competitor. Her weakness is she lacks likeability for people to want to keep her around, or else maybe I would place her higher.
8. Dick (BB8) Bullied his way to the finals. Not a nice strategy, but it worked.
9. Diane (BB5/7) The best overall player in a season of pretty crappy players.
10. Nakomis (BB5/7) A bit smarter than Diane, I think. But not as competitve. I thought Diane was a bit better overall.

[And Redmond, sorry. I wasn't trying to highjack your thread. But mines is a little different to yours anyway. I hope your not annoyed, sorry. ]

I refrained from putting Dick or Daniele into my top 10, they were good in comps but I just think without Eric and America's Player they wouldn't have made it that far in the game.


Jen!! She makes your list of best players?! Don't me wrong I was a Jen fan in BB8 and at the time I did think she was 'playing dumb' but no she wasn't, as she has admitted herself, she had no idea what she was doing there, she'd hardly watched the show and won comps on the fluke. I love Jen but she wasn't a good player.

Phew.


Maybe Eric should be in there somewhere?? The Donatos might not have gotten so far without AP, but they were such a force in their season it was hard for me to justify not putting them in somewhere...

Can't really think of any others. Everybody in BB8 sucked at gameplay; the whole thing was a complete random mess.

I was going to put Jen higher but I didn't know until now that she actually WASN'T playing dumb! But I still included her on the list because I struggled to think of more people after James and Jen didn't do so bad considering she had no idea what she was actually doing! If she really did barely watch the show before entering as she says, then I'm pretty impressed by how well she did.

Part of Dr.Will's strategy though was to throw competitions, he didn't want to come across as a threat. He even admitted near the end of BB2 that he threw the comps and Nicole said that he better not throw the last HOH and he said that he wouldn't and once again she trusted him and he 'cut her' in his own words.

Not trying to dispute your choices, I think Alison is definitely one of the best players ever in BBUSA, I just find it hard for anyone to come close to Dr Will, seeing as he was hated in Season 2 and was on his own from Week 4 onwards, yet managed to lie and manipulate his way to the final and WIN. Then in All-stars he was the only winner in there, so the number one target, yet he managed to get 4th place and he still managed to get Boogie to win the show, which throughout seemed to be more of his goal than him actually winning himself. The guy is an evil genius.

Don't know why Diane features so highly. She was suckered in by Drew and it was pitiful to watch her beg him.

Cos the heads of the groups are always seen to be good, whether they are or arent (I.e. Jase, Kaysay, Maggie etc.)

Without their numbers they wwouldnt really have much.

From the series ive seen. (No real order)

1. Janelle (BB6, BB7)
Final week twice, even though both times she was loathed. And winning all them competitions in Allstars deserves credit.

2. Will (BB7)
Havent really seen him in action in BB2, but heared he was awesome. He's been pretty good in Allstars to, and I think he's absolutely hysterical to go with it. I love how he happily admits to the others that he's a bastard, and they are just terrified to vote him out.

3. Nakomis (BB5)
Shame she didnt get much of a chance in Allstars, because I thought she was brilliant in Big Brother 5. Made clever alliances, and stayed true to them (eg. Karen), though this ultimately proved her downfall. No need to mention the 6 finger plan.

4. Maggie (BB6)
Very, very underated housemate, who managed to win the game despite not being that strong. Like them or loathe them, she managed the Friendship alliance well, and created an unbeatable team spirit amongst them.

5. Danielle (BB7)
Think she played a pretty decent game, and probably would have won if Erika hadnt betrayed her. Heared she was virtually flawless in BB3 to, so I think she deserves to be listed.

Yeah you need to watch Will in Season 2, I'm sure then he will take your number 1 spot. In All-Stars he was helping Boogie out too much. In Season 2 Will was truly on his own from like Week 4 onwards, he was hated by the whole house, was nominated nearly every week and bear in mind there was no Veto back then and this guy managed to lie, backstab, charm and manipulate his way through the show. A pure BB genius.
