hi, I have just got a new landline phone that lets me send SMS does anyone know how much it costs on Primus Planet Talk, I have looked on the website but cant find anything

No idea, but they're 1p each online on 18185 (except to Italian mobiles - texts to which cost 4p each).

They will probably go via BT at 10p per SMS or less if on F&F.

Best to use the likes of 18185 and send from the web for 1p.
