PVR - Sagem DVR 6200T UK
Hiya
My PVR a Sagem DVR 6200T UK has been playing up for a while, freezing and stuff on play back so I phoned Curry's and explained what the problem was and they are happy to exchange it (yay! ) but I still have quite a few programs stored on it that I would like to watch, is there a way they can be passed to the new PVR when I get it or saved some how? I know it's not the end of the world if they are lost but I just thought I'd ask just incase.I bought this in March last year so there is only about 2 weeks of the guarantee left so I know I'm lucky to be able to swap this but just out of interest would my new PVR be guaranteed for a year or just for the 2 weeks the old one had left on it? Also, could I add money to the swap and get a bigger/better one? If so any recommendations? I deff want twin tuner! Couldn't live with out T.T. lol Many thanks in advance Lynda |

I don't think any Freeview DVR (SKY+ and the V+ as well) is geared up to accept video from an external source so that best thing to do is simply dump the contents to a VCR or DVDr for viewing later.
I would expect any replacement under warranty would come with the standard 3 month or remainder of the original term which ever is longer. The usual process is like for like which means they don't have to give you the same make/model but it's not uncommon for the retailer to accept the balance in cash for an more advanced model, just ask ![]() I can't really fault the 9200 range from Humax based on a couple of years use but ask in the PVR forum. |
