Interrupted dial tone like having a 1571 message.
Hi,
I have an interrupted dial tone like the sound you get when there is a BT answer message for you. I have called 1571 a few times and each time it says "you have no new messages". Does anyone know what could be causing it? It's not a major problem. I don't sit and listen to the dial tone. (Well not that often!) I am just wondering what would cause this.I have recently moved line rental and calls from BT (because I hate them so much ) to Sky. Thanks, Ryan. |

Well the mysterious tone has gone now. It seems to have disappeared once I actually received a BT answer message then delete it. Quote:
