If you have Series Link activated does the HUMAX keep space available for the series. I came back on Sunday to find it thought the disc was full with only 40 hours of progs. At the moment it only has 16 hrs of progs but says I only have 45% free. Thinking of a reformat but will that help. Also will need to wait until other half watches Mistresses series.

Yes. It is the only way that you will recover the lost space.
