Has anyone been here? If so does it live up to the hype? Am thinking of taking my other half for a birthday present.

I haven't eaten but having looked at the website I wouldn't be unhappy if my OH had arranged for us to eat there fore my birthday - I say go for it. It's not that expensive when you consider it's got a Michelin Star either

I was there for my dinner on my mate's wedding day (in 1999). There were about 12 of us and the service and food was fantastic. I can't actually remember what I ate but the wine was lovely...

Yes mate, ate there last Summer and it was really good. Had the Beef for main course which is always on the menu and it was great, even came with chips!

Really cheap as well if you factor in a Michelin Star and it being in London.

I don't see how you can class £37.50 for 3 courses as pricey in London myself.

thanks for the comments so far - is the dress code fairly informal? I hate places which expect you to be wearing shirt and jackets at the least.

I wore a suit, but my mate wore a jacket and jeans, think you'll easily get away with shirt and trousers.

Well I went yesterday and had an excellent meal - wasn't cheap, as around £200 for two inc service (ordered a fair bit of excellent wine and had cheeses as well as the normal three course meal) - but the food was very good, and decent portions, which is not always guaranteed at some of London's more expensive restaurants.

Glad you enjoyed it mate. I doubt if there's a better restaurant for the money in London.
