Although just before Sheila went to bed last night, she had a quick chat with Adam, who was lying on the bed reading the Bible) and she told him she would take him to final 2. She said if he protects her from the guys, she will protect him from the girls. They both gave a big smile and hugged.

I wouldn't say these two are in any formal alliance yet, but there is certainly something between them and it will be interesting to see if this "looking out for each other" develops.

2. What is a decent connection speed to have to watch the stream?

Well, first I'd get the two week trials. You will see an advert for it on the real player site.
And I believe it comes in low and high quality - however, if you want the best picture quality it would be better to have a good speed connection.
