Phantom BBC1 scheduled recording

I'm having an infuriating problem with my Humax box - it occasionally won't allow me to record two things at once because I 'already have a recording scheduled on BBC1 17.59 - 01.59'

There's nothing reserved to record on BBC1 at that time (it would be an insanely long programme so it's obviously a bug). I've tried shutting the whole thing off and restarting it which didn't work - what could be going on?

Anyone else had the same issue?

Try doing a Default Settings, it will remove all your personal settings and recording schedule but it should clear the problem. During the Default Settings process the box will do an automatic search for channels, you should end up with about 63 TV and 25 Radio channels (give or take depending on where you live). If you get significantly more than that then you should try a Manual Search, see here:

I think something similar was traced to the switch-on and switch-off times, though whether thay were enabled in that case I don't recall.
In any case, Big-les's advice should reset/clear those anyway.
