As is usual for most mobile phone salesmen, you don't know my circumstances but have tried to make up my mind for me. You don't work for phones4u by any chance? That's usually their tactic.
I've made it clear what I want, for the right PAYG deal. If I wanted to know more about contract offers, I'd have asked. |

And what I've done numerous times is tell you there is no third or second way - I only want PAYG!
Honestly you are coming across very much like the traditional pushy mobile phone salesman. If that's not your intention then I apologise however that the perception. |

there are of course plenty of reasons to want pay as you go where no-one has a record of who you are. for instance, very popular with the criminal fraternity.

Yes of course. If you prefer a PAYG over a contract then you're clearly a criminal. I wonder if the police have worked that one out yet?

Value for money is not about opinion, it is about fact.
If you top up £30 a month as a PAYG customer you'd get unlimited texts and enough credit to make 200 mins of calls (200 x 15p/min = £30) If you had a £25 SIMO you'd get 600 minutes and unlimited texts. So for £5 a month LESS you'd get an extra 400 minutes. I can't see how that can't be seen as better value for money. That's why I'd never go to Pay Monthly - ie. sending 800 texts in a month would cost me £8 in delivery report charges. |

It is odd that orange favours PAYG customers to it PAYM customers as regards to charging for text messages delivery reports. I wonder why this is? Its probably too easy for PAYG customers to vote with their feet if they were to start charging for delivery reports on PAYG.

for pay monthly customers Orange charge 1p per delivery report for text messages whereas Pay As You Go customers dont pay for delivery reports.
