Does anyone know where I can get vegan cheese from? I have looked online and found one company that delivered from the UK to the UK but delivery was £10! Any links or names of companies would be much appreciated!

I would try health food shops and branches of Sainsbury.

If you have one near you, Waitrose stock 'Cheezly' by Redwood Foods (www.redwoodfoods.co.uk). I'm pretty certain it was the Mature White Cheddar version I saw in my nearest Waitrose.

Hi, littlemissvixen

I think Waitrose have Cheezly (not sure of the spelling!)
Most health food shops will stock vegan cheese
Holland & Barrett certainly do
Goodness Direct have quite a few to choose from

Edit: Unknown, you beat me to it!

Ah thank you! I found the website for redwood foods, they were the £10 delivery ones, Bute Island I had a look at but you can't buy online direct from them and the site I found that sold their products was US based!

Will try Waitrose, but there isn't one close by to me, I might try and find a website still.

Funny how Tesco, Asda etc sell non-dairy milk and yougurt but not non-dairy cheese!

Oh Snowfairy just noticed Holland & Barrett, wicked!

Waitrose, Holland and Barrett and health food stores stock cheezley.

This place is £6 delivery - a bit better and you could get a few packets, it keeps for ages and ages! http://www.veggiestuff.com/acatalog/...e_cheezly.html

I didn't realise it was owned by the Church of England.

Buy some non-vegan cheese instead. I recommend Tesco Organic strong cheddar; delish (and suitable for vegetarians)

What was the point of that when the OP asked specifically for vegan cheese?

Ahhh but surely 'Godness direct' is more of a Protestant idea rather than Roman Catholic?

Plamil do one (usually independent wholefood shops) but it's a bit overpowering, like old rancid socks.
Redwood foods Cheezly's the best. Our Tesco and Holland and barrett do it. There's a melting mozzarella version which is wonderful on pizzas.

A lot of their stuff is out of stock -due end Feb. They have some German veggie stuff called Viana - has anyone tried it? It includes doner kebab type stuff.

I've just received my order of the Viana from Veggies Stuff. They notiifed me they'd sent it out on Thursday so the package had been in transit since then and the packaging has disintegrated. I don't know if the food is spoilt. The box it came in didn't state that it was urgent or frozen food. Just to let you know. I've emailed them about it.
