I think the political voting found in the Eurovision Song Contest can easily be solved. Surely it would be sensible not to tell the viewers what country the singer is from until after the votes have been collected. That way viewers would vote for talent and not their nearest country. Any ideas...?

Yeah that's a good idea. I'd like to see them try that. The only problem would be keeping the acts top secret before the contest.
