Im from the UK and this is the first BBUS I have watched
I know other housemates from BB8 and 9 and allstars but only through youtube and research.
I love it! And the tasks! But could someone please explain the eviction twist with Jen and Parker with the POV. Do they just automatically evict a pair OR put them up for eviction? Also, do a pair win, allowing two winners, or when it comes down to the final pair, do the evicted housemates all vote their fave outta those 2. Thanks a lot! ![]()

Jen and Parker won the task to become Power Couple (different to HOH), they had the power to solely evict one couple on the spot.
A new HOH has been crowned since (won't say who in case you don't want to be spoiled). The HOH has to nominate two couples, then the couples will get the chance to play for POV in a few days, who ever is left on the block will face eviction later in the week. It hasn't been confirmed but the pairs are likely to be split up after 3 or 4 weeks, otherwise with two going every week the season would be over too quick. |

No that was early pre-season gossip. It is intended to run for 3 months, but CBS have left the option open to cut it short if the writers strike ended and ratings where bad. The strike had ended, and ratings were okay but not great, but putting the show up against American Idol what do they expect.
Hopefully we get a full series. |

If the writers strike had ended sooner (Jan) then it may have become a short season. The strike has only just ended so we should be ok for the full term now.

Why were Jacob & Sharon (I think that's their names) who were evicted tonight not interviewed? From memory the last BBUSA I watched on E4 had eviction interviews.

I love the fact the the presenter is detached and is simply there to move things along...
....and that the housemates just play the game without having to worry about the public... ...and that there need never be a complaint about editing bias...as the edit has no bearing on who will win/lose. |

I think it is OK so far. Chenbot is the only thing that is providing me with humour on this show. None of the houseguests seem to want have fun. Constant backstabbing, which I admit looks fun to watch, but after a while, I think it will get boring, just like in BB6 here where the housemates would just argue non-stop 24/7. In this case, they just bitch and backstab, and go OTT if someone does bitch about them. I'll keep my eye on this show though, for now.
