I know other housemates from BB8 and 9 and allstars but only through youtube and research.

I love it! And the tasks!

But could someone please explain the eviction twist with Jen and Parker with the POV. Do they just automatically evict a pair OR put them up for eviction?

Also, do a pair win, allowing two winners, or when it comes down to the final pair, do the evicted housemates all vote their fave outta those 2.

Thanks a lot!

they decide who to EVICT.

and not sure about the last one yet, sneaking suspish it will have to change, or else the last 2 months of the show will be of an empty house and some hamsters.

Jen and Parker won the task to become Power Couple (different to HOH), they had the power to solely evict one couple on the spot.

A new HOH has been crowned since (won't say who in case you don't want to be spoiled). The HOH has to nominate two couples, then the couples will get the chance to play for POV in a few days, who ever is left on the block will face eviction later in the week.

It hasn't been confirmed but the pairs are likely to be split up after 3 or 4 weeks, otherwise with two going every week the season would be over too quick.

Can't remember where I read it but I read that the show was only due to run for 6 weeks so there was a break before Series 10 starts in the summer ... anyone else heard about this or is it just a bit of unfounded gossip?

No that was early pre-season gossip. It is intended to run for 3 months, but CBS have left the option open to cut it short if the writers strike ended and ratings where bad. The strike had ended, and ratings were okay but not great, but putting the show up against American Idol what do they expect.

Hopefully we get a full series.

If the writers strike had ended sooner (Jan) then it may have become a short season. The strike has only just ended so we should be ok for the full term now.

Why were Jacob & Sharon (I think that's their names) who were evicted tonight not interviewed? From memory the last BBUSA I watched on E4 had eviction interviews.

They will probably be interviewed by Julie on Sundays (Tuesday here) show. It wasn't a "proper" eviction night, it was shock. they weren't in their eviction clothes, hadnt packed. Just straight out.

I love the fact the the presenter is detached and is simply there to move things along...

....and that the housemates just play the game without having to worry about the public...

...and that there need never be a complaint about editing bias...as the edit has no bearing on who will win/lose.

Will the Chen go into the house or is that Big Brother Australia?

I think it is OK so far. Chenbot is the only thing that is providing me with humour on this show. None of the houseguests seem to want have fun. Constant backstabbing, which I admit looks fun to watch, but after a while, I think it will get boring, just like in BB6 here where the housemates would just argue non-stop 24/7. In this case, they just bitch and backstab, and go OTT if someone does bitch about them. I'll keep my eye on this show though, for now.

Josh had a choice out of Jacob/Sharon to bring back in, did he not? Because he's bisexual the producers just bunged him with anyone.

It's only the second time ever in the history of the show that that has happened.

You're telling me! I couldn't understand his reaction, someone maybe called him a snake...so what, there's going to be more and a lot worse said throughout the course of the show, has he never seen BB before? More so what what I didn't understand why after being woken up and dragged into it the rest of the HMs seemed to support Parker on the matter, he's the one who should have come out of that worse!

Thanks for using spoiler tags guys

But do they even have a laugh in there though? As long there is some humour, which is intended, then I will be OK.
