I was just wondering what the wise members of DigitalSpy think of Damon Albarn? Is he a genius? Is he unbearable? Did you use to like him but now quite like him?
Regardless of that, his work ethic can’t be denied these days.

Two recent performances by the man:

Overrated.

I saw him on what I think was The South Bank Show several years ago, and he came across as rather pretentious.

Oh he's definitely pretentious, and he can come across as a bit of a knob, but the guy's basically a genius. He's brilliant at whatever he turns his hand to.

I fancied him when he was in Blur and he's just gotten better with age (shallow...moi?)

Musically he's interesting, and has defo kicked N.Gallaghers arse.

I like Blur, but I think he's more that a bit up himself to be honest.

Yeah, he's talented but he bloody well knows it!

Early Blur stuff is fantastic, The album leisure is a classic and Parklife is great. For Tomorrow is amazing as are the all the bonus tracks on the single. Chemical world is probably my favourite Blur track though.

After that i lost interest in them and Damon Albarn, He is a very very talented bloke though whatever you think about him.
