By the way, does mean there'll be no BB USA this summer? I'm still hoping for some kind of US/UK crossover.

We still get the summer season, confirmed

There will still be BB in the summer. This is just an extra one as they needed to fill the gap left by the writers strike.

I want nothing -- and I mean absolutely nothing -- from BB US in the UK version.

I especially dislike head of household, power of veto, and nomination discussions.

I want nothing to do with a BB that has a house full of tactical gameplayers.
I dissagree 100%. I would rather watch a gameshow filled with tactical gameplay, backstabbing and great tasks / competitions than a boring reality show of celeb wannabe's laying around in the garden all day doing nothing.
Have you actually watched a full season of BBUS? Do yourself a favour.

Me too. At least they would always be something to watch on the live feed and give the housemates a reason to play and fight to stay in. Rather than lazing around in bed for half the day and then when they do get up they just have meaningless conversations about mag deals or the after show party.

Make these housemates work to stay in, target game players at the auditions, people who want to be in it to win and watch BB9 be one of the most successful BB's ever.

I've only watched the live feed for a couple series, but when I did, whilst it was fun to watch, it got just as tedious as our show does at times, and for a good proportion of the time, I would say more tedious. If they talked about the game all the time, then it just got boring, and when they didn't they were often as boring as our lot. Also, and this is the big problem with the US live feeds, you are left at the end with several weeks of there being very few people in the house. This gets v.tedious esecially when you are often left with people who might be great gameplayers, but personality wise, stink.
