Might be going, need to finalise with cousins. The Verve are my 3rd favourite band ever and I also love Kaiser Chiefs and R.E.M. Superb new bands as well including The Courteneers,Sergeant and The Law.

Obviously a lot more still to be announced but personally I'm not that impressed. The only artists there worth seeing (in my opinion) are The Fratellis, Kaiser Chiefs, Stereophonics, KT Tunstall and Amy MacDonald.
Even Still, I'm going to get my ticket tomorrow

Best lineup of all the Uk festivals announced so far imo, i reckon only Reading/Leeds might top it for me. But since TITP isnt that far away from where i live, i will most likely just go to that instead of trekking down to reading or leeds. Lots of mates going too so should be good fun, just hope i can get a ticket, the website/phone lines are going to be overloaded :/

I got tickets!
![]() ![]() Only for Saturday and Sunday. It kept coming back as unavailable for the full weekend with Friday. Got a couple of error messages too that drove me potty, but got there eventually. At first glance, it's not the strongest line-up they've had, but there's more than enough to keep me entertained, and I bet some more names will be added and some of the ones listed will be releasing music between now and then. Normally there are quite a few acts who are "on their way up", and there are five months to go. I first saw some of those acts (Prodigy, Primal Scream) over ten years ago when T in the Park was by Glasgow, so it'll be fun to compare and contrast. |

Went to ticketmaster in Kirkcaldy and got my tickets! I was really surprised, there was only 30 or so people there at 9.

I got 2 camping tickets very very easily at around 8:58. Went very fast and did not have to wait at all. Maybe i was just lucky though.

You must have got lucky by getting in a bit early. I was online before nine waiting for the tickets to become available - kept hitting refresh. The first opportunity I got I was submitting my order and got the "fifteen minutes or more" message. Finally got a pair at 9:40. It was a stressful forty minutes, lol.

For some reason when I tried to book a weekend camping ticket I kept getting an error message, however I managed to book a weekend camping with transport package for £200
.Not exactly what I wanted, but I was planning on getting a bus up anyway and it's still cheaper than it would have been on eBay and I didnt haev to sit out in the cold all night like some of my friends were . (Glasgow btw, my pals wee brother was interviewed on BBC Scotland)

While there isn't much that will appeal to me, I have to say that so far TITP has the best line up of any festival yet. Quote:

One festival in Scotland, compared to the umpteen festivals and venues in England. Guess we have it lucky up here in Scotland, so many to choose from; right on our door steps. ![]() oh and Rocknes, the Loch lomond one and Belladrum (they may not be on a huge scale but there is only 5m of us) |
