Wireless TV Sender & Wireless Internet
Kargo
15-02-2008
Hey Guys, I have a Netgear D834G router upstairs in my house, its used in the 3 bedrooms.. wirelessly in two and connected via ethernet in the other room.

My downstairs main TV has Sky and the TV in the kitchen receives Turksat 42e through a 80cm dish fixed outside. everything runs perfectly.

I recently purchased a TV Sender so that occassionally when their is a footy match on, we can watch it on the main TV. I tried it out today and I was surprised at how good the picture was. I noticed their was some interference with the Wireless Internet but not too much considering it is upstairs. I fiddled around with the TV sender and receivers controls and changed it to Zone 4 or Channel 4, thankfully the interfering went.. I tested it by having something downloading upstairs and all seems fine.

Im a bit concerned however.. having two wireless devices in the same house being used at the same time, is there any damage which that can cause? to either the Wireless router or the TV? bearing in mind that the TV sender will only be used occassionally.
