Obviously if it hasn't been mentioned on the you may wanna stay away.

Apparently a whole bunch of the house is pressuring Nathan to put Scott so they can vote him out. He is supposed to be a bit loopy and a lot of people have took a dislike to him.

watch the 3rd episode - all will be revealed.

I dunno how the veto works - but they hinted that it could end up with everyone up for eviction, unless i misheard.

In principle the veto is a great idea if only to stir up trouble.

The HoH chooses which two are up for eviction. There's no 'he wees on the seat', or 'pissses in the shower'. The two are up because the HoH has decided either they themselves or the other HGs simply don't like them or want to compete against them.

This means that when one is evicted the HoH is left with one enemy remaining who won't soon forget who put them up, and may in the future become HoH.

With the Veto, another HG may save one of the two up for eviction, substituting someone else. If that replacement then leaves the HoH has his original two enemies still in the house. If the substitute stays the Veto person has an enemy.

It's actually quite impressive how vicious the US system is.

In the highlights a lot of voices were calling for Scott to be up for eviction, but the storylines were generally focusing on his beligerence and others' reactions so it's difficult to be sure if there was much canvasing for other people to be up.

Without giving away anything specific to anyone who hasn't seen episode 3 yet... I would like to see the power of veto used as it looks to me like a popular person was put against an unpopular one to ensure the latter left. Interestingly it seems that the ex's don't appreciate the way things have gone.

Quick clarification:

If the POV works like last year, the POV-holder simply chooses which nominee, if any, is off the block.

It's the HOH who chooses the new nominee.

So, the new nominee may be mad at the HOH for nominating them, AND the POV holder for putting them in that position in the first place, once they thought they were safe after surviving Friday.
