tiscali passed details to credit company
TaG Eledhel

well now they have done it.

without going nto a long arse winded story homechoice /tiscali have really screwed up.
i got a letetr from experto credit saying i owe tiscal £180.
phoned tiscali.. cant talk to you its in 3rd parties hands.
phoned experto sorry we aint talking to you take it up with tisali.

the reason for £180. call charges from august the 3rd 2007.
why im not paying them.
left tiscali after 3 years in jume 2007. have a letter from them saying eveything will be terminated on 26th july 2007 ( one months notice).

so tell me any call charges after that time who is responsible. because i moved from my old address on 2nd july 2007 ( handed keys back to council as i moved into a bigger place and have proof of that).

so ive sent both experto and homechoice copies of the letetr stating that my service will be switched off on 26th july. but do you think the incompetents can actually understand that.

anyone else had dealings like this with tiscali because its a piss take and no mistake, i for one look forward to them dragging me to caourt if they dont sort this out cos i will rip them a new arsehole and claim damages with it.

anyway rant over time ot break out the quattro

bring it on homechoice your arse is mine

sorry for typos im rather wound up at moment

OK you clearly hate Homechoice (now Tiscali) I am with you on that... but that post contained more errors than all the posts on DS forums put together.... come on.. really!! Please check you're post and correct the errors. Not to mention the lack of punctuation, and bad grammar (capital letters)! The following errors caused concern:
nto, letetr, tiscal, jume, letetr, ot.

And also you're rather charming statement's:
"p*** take"
"cos i will rip them a new a***hole and claim damages"
Hmmmm, very polite...

You also mention you have a council place and they have moved you to a new council place.... interesting! I say no more

I actually find your remarks rather rude - this forum is not an open invitation to pull someone up on their grammar and spelling; this person may even be dyslexic. Ideally we all want posts to be typo free and readable but this isn't a perfect world and clearly the poster is wound up, although I do accept he did take his post a bit far.

what kind of arrogant idiot are you, first you critisize my typos which i had clearly stated an apology for. then to go as far as attack the fact i am a council tennant and not a home owner.
i guess you think all council tennants are chavs too huh?
the reason im a council tennant is im not prepared to throw my very good earnings as a technical developer on a property when interest rates are at an all time high.

if you have nothing better to do that belittle someones post over there typos and then dare to attack them because where they live then i suggest you crawl back under the rock you came from.
if you have nothing good to say then say nothing.
you are THE worst kind of forum poster there is with nothing to say other than abuse others

dont bother to reply because i have no intention of wasting another second on idiots like you

HI,

Ok, just trying to drag this back to the issue at hand, have you spoken to Homechoice about this yet? It is unfortunately one of those problems that won't go away until you get onto them. In my experience, once they realize they are in the wrong, they usually clear down the debt, but they need to know they are in the wrong!

yeah ive spoken to them until im blue in the face since septembr last year, sent letters, emails, ponecalls, the works, the fact is since they were taken over by tiscali they have become incompetent idiots and now because its gone to a thrird party they wont even discuss the matter, yet the third party tell me i have to take it up with tiscali. talk about stuck between to complete morons who despite letters showing i vacted the old address in july and that the service should have been termintaed on july 26th ( all call charges relating to the owed 180 start from august 10th) they fail to see its there error.

If you vacated your old address for a new one then you should not be billed. They obviously did not terminate your account. What I find strange is why they send you a letter to your new place when someone is running up a phone bill in your old place. I would show them a copy of the utility bill in your new place too. As how can you possibly be living in two places at the same time?

There is nothing wrong with council houses. They tend to be better built than other houses. So don't take it to heart when people think people who live in council houses are pond scum. I know quite a few people who live in a council house and one is a Doctor of Psychometry. People should not be prejudiced about a type of housing. It is irrespective of social class or standing.

The Citizen's Advice Bureau should be able to assist you with your problem.

Personally, I would take them to court for harassment and stress as their incompetency this time is terrible. What happens if this was a little old lady or man? I know I would want them to know that they can't treat people like this when they have left the building.

Good luck. I will be thinking of you.

finally a reply that ive waited over 6 months to hear

Thank you for your email.

We have completed our investigation. It would seem that your telephony service did not cancel down as requested with the rest of your account.

Please accept our sincere apologies. We have contact Experto Credite and advised them to make no further contact and the outstanding amount has been written off.

We appreciate your patience and co-operation during this time.

Kind Regards

am i happy, well yes and no.

i think after all that time its a pretty weak apology to say the least. the amount of time money and stress ive had to put up with over the past 6 months, the letters ive wrote, calls ive made, time off work taken to try and resolve this, i think warrants more than a half hearted sorry.

I'd get a credit report done some time soon as well to make sure this hasn't been listed against you.

update on this.
finally after all the hassle the matetr ahs been resolved. though i have still yet to recieve the £50 compensation offered.
Should i just forget it and walk away.
well after over 6 months of grief, phonecalls, letters and emails, no im staying wit this to the end. Considering all this has cost me in excess of £200 the offer of £50 is an insult but at least im finally free of them. when i do finally get it i hope its a cheque cos i'll frame it and put it on the wall

I think you can cash it and ask for the check afterwards from the bank.
