Ray is performing at the Tigers Super League match on 2nd of March (Mother's Day). Sadly, Yorkshire is much to far for me to travel to.

What a good idea, why haven't we done it already

I also found this:

http://www.cluboneascot.com/clubevents.html

Club 1 is a night club in Ascot that does swing/jazz/blues/funk music.
This is 2nd March too so he's going to be busy

He'll be in his element performing at a swing club

Forgot to say, Club 1 is for 0ver 25's only. It seems ironic that if Ray wasn't performing they wouldn't allow him in

New Year message from Ray's MySpace

hi everyone, hope you all had good christmas and boss new year. I was working more after my tour than i was when i was on tour travelling back and forward to london doing numerous TV appearances and gigs including Britain sings Christmas which really got me in the Christmas spirit. I done my last gig 21st December for Dreamz the bed company. So i only had 3 days to get christmas presents for all my family and friends. Over the holidays i have just relaxed, played my new playstation 3! and looked back on how great the year was. my next gig is in the Liverpool Echo Arena on the 19th Jan which i cant wait to do. Im going to be really busy in 2008 so watch this space! finally i just want to thank each and everyone of you for your kind support through 2007 i really do appreciate it. Best wishes for 2008 hope the year brings you all happiness lots of love Ray x

Something to add to this - local children will have the chance to do a dance routine with Ray:

And another event that Ray will be at. Why are they all so far away from where I live?

Aw bless.
He was a good actor too. Wish he would do some more acting.

Unfortunately I was never a Brookside viewer so the first I knew of him was the X Factor. However I did see a clip of him acting when presented with his Soap Award ( saw it on YouTube)

He then went on to the short series Cactus Jack, a BBC Radio Play, then that Play got made into a BBC Drama and he appeared in an episode of Doctors. He also made a very short film, Bulletproof with Chris Perry Metcalf from Grange Hill. Here's the link:

On Sunday morning Ray was a guest on the childrens BBC programme 'Hider in the House' (never seen it myself, it's where a celebrity is smuggled into someones house)

It's repeated next Sunday at 10.00 am on CBBC

Blimey talk about delayed reaction, this thread took its time to appear.

Always wondered why he never had one.
