Another year has come, and tickets for Tea in The Park, and already tickets are on ebay, surely by now the promoters could have done something, even something similar to Glastonbury

SOmething will be done for the Commonwealth Games, SNP goverment going to pass a law which will make it a crime to resell tickets for a profit, but only for these games, why only for these games why not make it for everything, including concerts

They did do something...by putting such a poor lineup together its certain to deter ticket touts and minimise trading on e-Bay etc. With the exception of Ben Folds and Paul Heaton ( and lets be honest I don't need to trudge through 6 feet of mud to see them ) this is the poorest T lineup for years,,,didn't bother getting out of bed to book tickets today and I won't be beating a path to my local tout !

but I won't be going and folk must be mad to pay the touts. Just befriend someone who works in a pub that sells tennents they always get some....or do what thi sguy told me once, set up a mock website "music reviewer" (or something like this, then write to the promoters and you'll get journo/media passes.

I'm far more interested in going this year but was unable to get near a computer yesterday. This doesn't just happen for T in the Park though - many other concerts/events are the same. It’d be nice to see something done about it but unfortunately nobody seems to give a toss. Introducing small amounts of wishy-washy legislation seems the most anyone is willing to do.
