Hi All
Wonder if you can help...I recently moved into a house with AV already set up....set up was Sky into Bose lifestyle center then onto Panasonic TH-37PW5. I have had Sky in and got the Sky changed to SKY+. The connections are all RCA Composite, as I guess the distance between the Bose box and the TV is a fair distance, with the wires all hidden behind a false wall. All was well until I recently added a Wii, and because the Bose only has 1 input and output for picture I also bought a switch box to add the av inputs. Basically i unplugged everything and started again. But since then the picture on the TV is awful, with the white level almost unbearable (even though i have turned down brightness to minimum) on Sky and Wii and i cant even play DVD's without the picture jumping from normal colour to very strong colour which then causes the picture to break up and the message no signal appear on the TV. I have (through trial and error) narrowed it down to either the lead taking the picture to the TV, or the TV itself. As i never unplugged the TV i thought it cant be responsible for the bad picture, but I am now thinking maybe it is, as when I go to adjust the picture for the settings it doesnt even acknowledge that my AV connctor is Composite, only Component or RGB. Has anybody got any ideas on why its all gone so wrong?
PS Sorry for the essay!!!!!
