Completely agree expected it from the first too but Jason Castro was a complete surprise also the David Cook did very well.

from the guys last night my least faves were luke, chikeze and garret, hope garrett stays tho, may improve, quite liked jasons but he may go as was painted out to be dull..

i also think danny will be very good if he shows of his vocals

Last nights performances from the girls showed some more competition than the guys.

Ramielle stole the show, outpointing Carly and Asia'h. Next best were Syesha and Brooke with most of the others "middle of the road".

Worst performances were from Joanne, Amy and Alexandrea. (new VT's will be up shortly (visit our homepage) along with "reaction polls").

I'm watching the Girls show, and Simon made a comment about Brooke's performance being like a "1960s Washing Up Liquid Commercial". It's funny that the Americans didnt know what washing up liquid was. So, it was quite humerous when Simon was explaining what it was! A lot of the time, Simon makes remarks which the UK audience can understand, but not the American audience!

I wasn't all that impressed with the ladies last night. Had hoped for stronger performances from Brooke and Carly (but glad Carly mentioned her recording contract)

Alaina was fab last night I thought. She was really fun,perky and preppy. I think she'll make the top 12
