Several years ago I watched all the repeats of Delia's "How to Cook" series. People took the mickey because it was so basic - they called it "Delia's How to Boil Water" - but it was what I needed at the time because I was a clueless "stick a supermarket meal in the microwave" merchant until then.
Now I cook most stuff from scratch.

Went to see Can't Cook, Won't Cook being recorded in the past (would have to be, not been made for many a year).

You got to see the 2nd half of one programme and then the first half of the next.

In the 2nd half of the recording, they'd bring in prepared by support cooks the items you 'saw' being prepared by the contestants in the first half. You couldn't have them eating something that wasn't fit.

Still good to watch it recorded even when you found out it wasn't what they started to make themselves that was the final result.
