Broken Bluetooth Headset
Right I think this is the best place for this.
I have a Sony Bluetooth headset. Have had it for a few years now although it's rarely ever been used. When I got my PS3 I decided to use it however it wouldnt switch on, no problem I'll charge it I thought. No good wouldnt work so I gave up. Tried it again last night and it started taking the charge however since giving it over 6 hours to charge, I'm sure it only needs 4 hours, It won't do anything. The LED flashes when it's charging but it won't come on. I've lost the manual so can't refer to that, and cannot remember the model number to search online, although I am at the moment trying to find it on the site I bought it from. Any ideas ? It can't have died surely if the LED is flashing to say it's charging ? ETA : Ah fantastic I found the model number. It's the Sony Ericsson Bluetooth Headset HBH-65 |

If you leave a battery for a long time it will completely discharge. You might be able to get it to work by charging for a long period (up to 3 times the normal charge time). Then unplug it and try to turn on. If this works, then the capacity will be reduced until you have gone through several charge cycles.

I've lost count of the amount of hours i've given to charging the headset back up but it still won't turn on. I think I'll just keep on charging it over the next few days and if it doesn't work after that I'll give up with it, sadly.
