Let's hope they update it more often than the N95. My o2 N95 is stuck on V11 software - yet o2 is selling V12 equipped handsets - and V20 has been available for some months now - but not for o2 customers...

O2 have no say in how the iPhone is updated. As soon as you connect to iTunes it will offer you the latest version.

Orange is the same on the N95.

Personally I changed the product code on mine so it could receive the generic Nokia update (opposed to the operator branded version) and I'm now enjoying V20 (faster applications/menu/gps)

They update it every few weeks really, and its FAR easier to upgrade than the N95 or any other phone. You connect it to your computer when copying music over etc. if there's new firmware it just asks if u want to upgrade it, click yes and you're done! No hacking around with .exe files and flashing the firmware etc.

You'll LOVE iPhone, a massive upgrade from an N95.

Change product code. Connect to NSU. Sorted.

Hi, my Vodafone N95, like yours is stuck on V11 but I took it into my local Vodafone store and they've sent it away to get updated but not sure to what version!!! I'll let you know how it goes.

Apart from a pretty interface and the ability to upgrade the firmware more efficiently - I am at a loss to see how the iPhone is better than my N95. But, hey, there are plenty of threads on this...

It depends what you use a phone for really. I've not turned my N95 on since November, I should really put it on ebay while it's still worth something. The only thing I miss is a decent camera, although I barely used that anyway.
