Is it possible to make garlic the main ingredient of a main meal???I would say French garlic soup...but I'm not a huge fan of soup.

Any suggestions appreciated! Garlic Wellington? Garlic fritters

Geez... I love garlic and could quite easily use about 8 cloves when cooking a meal but 40!

Can just imagine how bad my breath would stink after eating that.

The garlic loses it's pungency from being cooked so long, they end up sweet and lovely.

My chap roasts 2 heads of Garlic, fries bacon and then squeezes the garlic into a paste to make a pasta sauce. Very rich, but very good.

Years ago when i lived in germany i had an Italian friend (I am half italian too), who would cut a large slice of bread, cover it with tomato paste, then cover this with slices of raw garlic and a splash of olive oil and eat it for a snack. OMG even his dog wouldnt go near him LOL, but he loved it ate it every day. Phew.

You can try this, although it is really more of a sauce.
