apple iphone at o2

hi my daughter just got one today and well happy with it. my son was just wondering if he could get one he has a contract with o2 that started late august.

Judging from the F.A.Q on o2's website ;

It seems he can upgrade without paying the rest of his contract off. Hope this helps.

The full amount, as there is no discount on the iPhone with o2. Which is a shame!

^ that's why you are able to upgrade part way through your contract with no penalty.

O2 are happy because you are basically starting a new 18 month contract with them on a minimum £35 a month tariff with a phone they do not have to subsidise.
