She has an ability to sing well, so I guess that's a talent.

But I get what he's saying, it's not all about Leona Lewis, and I think that he's pretty much spot on with the points which he's making. As well as the point about this 'nu-rave' bullshit. I'm in complete agreement with the sentiment of what he's saying.

I agree with him 100%.

Who?

Says it all. He knows slamming one of the most popular people around at the moment will get him publicity. He'll crawl back into his hole soon.

What he is saying is factually incorrect as well as shamelessly publicity hunting.

He is talking rubbish.. She is a talented singer.

What does it say? That you like crap manufactured pop and don't pay attention to anything that isn't on endless repeat on commercial radio? I agree with him 100% although I don't particularly like his band.

I agree with him, kind of. Talent is not just about a voice. It's about your persona, your ability to produce your own stuff or have some creative input at least etc...

In regards to nu-rave. That's probably a silly NME invention and the 'nu-rave' bands probably don't give a shit.

A nobody trying to get famous? Never even heard of him until I saw that headline,... still can't remember his name now.

No its not, it has all different meanings.

But in terms of performing, being a great singer is by far the greatest aspect.

Isn't that exactly what Leona was when she entered the X Factor?

Leona Lewis certainly ISN'T 'devoid of talent', but I agree with 99% of his points.

Leona is an amazing singer, which is a great talent to have. But most other XF winners aren't, eg. Leon, he's average, nothing special.
The thing is though, 10 years ago, most music was like this: just be a singer with a team of writers doing the songs, a team of lyricists and voice enhancing technology! It's good we're getting rid of it. "Real" music is band music played live and I'm glad it's back in force now.

I've heard of Leona, WTF is Jon McCLure? wasn't he a cowboy in "the Virginian" in the 1970s?

says it all.

I've heard of Jon McClure, who's band Reverend and the Makers are playing one of the big festivals this year - Might be T in the Park, so obviously NOT a nobody. (Edit: Confirmed they will be playing T in the Park, so where's Leona's invite.....wait festivals would be beneath her diva status.)

Don't ever wish to hear of Leona again. (Sadly this will never happen while The Fat Controller Cowell is still alive and driving the money train.)

Must be why you talk about her on almost every single thread that involves her

What kind of slam did he do anyway? Was it a Powerslam, a Bodyslam, a Fall Away slam, a sidewalk slam?

oh - so being at a fest outweighs her album sales and chart-topping single? she must be so upset at not having to play some over-the border clan gathering...

perhaps she is, after all the Scots named an Island after her.

never heard of the Isle of Jon McClure.

Surely there's room for Leona and other artists. I don't see why she should lose any credibility because she doesn't strum a guitar or play the piano when she's singing. She has a huge talent. You can't deny that.

I find that quite offensive and your posts quite moronic.
