Saw the 5.00 p.m. show at Southend today and it was fab.
We arrived early, after major parking trauma on the seafront on the hottest day of the year GRRRRR. However, we caught Keith and some of the other Brothers before we went into the show.
Thought all the guys did so well in the show - I was so proud of them all and kept thinking back to this time last year when I was up at the BBC every week with Aimee for ADWD - how they have all matured in a short time.
Chris B was Narrator and Craig was Joseph with Antony throwing some great shapes as Napthali LOL. I know he will do a great job when he takes over as Pharoah - but ohhhh that whilte lycra suit looks sooooooo tight!!
After the show we rushed round to the Stage Door where a rather forthright female doorkeeper told us there was no point in waiting as no one would be coming out and to all go away. There were several little children in the crowd who got very upset at this.
Aimee, and my other daughter Sian and a few others decided to wait it out for a further 15 mins to see if anyone would appear and lo and behold Aimee's prayers were answered when her big mouthed 8 year old sister shouted out "Oy Antony come over 'ere" as Ant was crossing the road to the sweetie shop.
Antony did an about turn and came over and spent some time chatting and having pictures taken with all the girls - thanks Antony this was very much appreciated by all concerned.
I now have one love struck 16 year old who will not go to sleep and who has posted her piccy all over anywhere she can think of - when I get hold of the camera I will try and post some on here.
Caught Wayne and some of the other guys later too - Ant returned with some ice cream from the local chippie - he should have gone to Rossis - a local tradition - we did on the way home too.
Incidentally, as we passed a restaurant just along from the theatre there were at least four or five members of the paparazzi arriving - watch the papers tomorrow to see who and why - we could not find out.
