Warranties

Am about to buy a LCD or Plasma TV and was wondering about the various warranties available.
I've seen the free 5 year from John Lewis, the 3 year from Empire Direct (upon paying £30 for their card), and the £149 3 year or £249 5 year from Comet.
The salesman at Comet says the Empire direct one is a basic parts and labour but you have to pay for any call outs or fitting, and obviously says his (Comet) is the best coz it covers everything, even a new for old.
Haven't read anything on the John Lewis one though.

Whats any opinion on these warranties,

go to john lewis, hopefully they are price matching as they usually do
