Mika being named best British Artist (Leona's sold far more singles and albums than Mika in last 12 months)

Artic Monkeys - Favourite Worst Nightmare beating Leona's 'Spirit' for Best British Album (AM Album was released over 12 months ago, so is not relevant to this year, wheras 'Spirit' is, it is the biggest selling album for a British Act Ever.


RHIANNA NOT BEING RECOGNISED
Rhianna clearly should of won Best International Female this year over Kylie. Rhianna has done a lot more in the past 12 months and 'Umbrella' being one of the biggest singles of the past 12 Months. Surely staying at number 1 for 10 weeks deserves recoginition.

Really felt for her as she performed clearly not well and struggling through the both performances, Mark Ronson clearly was trying to help her get back on key at one stage during Valerie, and disgusted she was not even nominated for Best British Female, when her and Leona clearly are the best 2 British Female Artists of the moment.

Duffy not performing, would of prefered to of seen her than Adele. She should of won that Best Britsh Talent gong over Adele.

PS leona also went to the Brit school so kate didnt win coz she was the only one from the Brits school.

A few corrections:

1) Leona also went to the BRIT school.
2) There's no award called "Best British Artist". He won "Breakthrough" award, which is far, since he became big on his own terms (and really broke though), as opposed to going on a talent show.
3) Amy Winehouse hasn't released anything since the last BRITS, where she won Best Female, so she couldn't be nominated for anything.

I was surprised that Leona didn't win any. She's obviously very popular with the public, but not within the industry then? I think she deserved Best Female (although it was nice for Nash to win an award, would've preferred it to have been Breakthrough) and Best Single - I've never even heard 'Shine' in full, but from the clip they played it sounded crap! I could understand if it was for their Stardust song, but seriously, is Shine any good? Sounded pants...

- Leona should have won best single, the fact Take That won with that bloody irrating crap is ridiculous

- Rihanna should have won best international female

- Take That shouldn't have won any awards. They have half the talent of the bands they were up against (eg Arctics); at least A.M. write all their own songs, play all their own instruments etc. TT didn't deserve that award.

Leona robbed for best female.
Rhianna robbed for best intl female.

In fact the only correct award was for Mika.

Kate Nash is ok but Leona and Amy Winehouse are both in a league of their own one of those 2 should of won Best British Female.

Point (3) Artic Monkeys album was released before last Brits therefore their album shouldn't of been nominated.

Leona didn't deserve to win her nominations, so I'm glad she didn't.

I dont like any of their song so really what im hearing dont matter.

what dose matter is the OP is complaining coz kate went to the Brits school and more or less won coz of it but that cant be so as they had a better 2 to pick from the brits school amy/leona but they didnt pick them. So really its nothing to do with the school, its more or less to do with who came out good and as kate wasnt at the school for music she came out looking like she worked harder to get where she is.
