Advice For Novice Please
I have a Samsung LE37M86BD TV and a mixed collection of fairly ordinary bits to connect comprising: Yamaha RX-V357 Receiver/Pioneer DV454 DVD Player/ Sky+ and Wharfedale Speaker set-up. I would appreciate advice on how to get the best out of my Pioneer DVD player in terms of where to couple up to. My Yamaha has no scart connections and the Pioneer just has the one.

If the Samsung has 2 SCART that both accept RGB then...
Pioneer direct to Samsung on RGB SCART for picture & sound, then connect audio out (optical/COAX) to Yamaha for sound. Do the same for Sky+ Connecting this way means you can play DVDs & Sky using the TV speakers or the surround sound. Specialists like me come out and do this sort of hook up as part of calibrating the TV and audio system. I'm also in Cheshire. Regards Chris |
