HUMAX - fix failed recordings
After experiencing a number of failed recordings recently, i rang humax who told me how to fix it.
Go to installation and default. When the box restarts, stop it from searching for channels. Go to instalation - manual search. Channel 52 - Network Search ENABLE. Search and save the channels. Hope this works better now. (warning schedule is deleted) |

well it has worked so far for me.
and i forget to say - they asked for my postcode, so the channel will probably vary for everyone. If you want to speak to Humax, I called 028 9182 4983 and got a quick response. |

This is what Humax support suggested for me (nearly). I was given a list of channels to manually tune.
It did not fix the problem and have now been asked to format the disk |

I have suffered more failed recordings yet again for the first time in 4 days.
I was recording click on bbc news 24 at 00:30 and it continued to record for around 11 hours untill i had to switch the box off and on again. I ended up missing two scheduled recordings because of it!!!! HUMAX DO SOMETHING!!!!!!! |

Could your problem possibly be due to the BBC not broadcasting the correct series-link and/or accurate-record data for the edition that you tried to record? -- from CyberSimian in the UK |
