Girls Aloud 'fear Nadine walk-out'
Girls Aloud 'fear Nadine walk-out'
Thursday, February 21 2008, 13:48 GMT By Alex Fletcher, Entertainment Reporter Girls Aloud are worried that Nadine Coyle has quit the band after she failed to attend the Brit Awards last night, it has been claimed. Reports yesterday suggested that the singer missed her flight from LA to London because she had lost her passport. However, Coyle reportedly told the rest of the girls that she didn't want to "be a part" of the Brits and the band are allegedly "in panic mode". A source told Heat: "Nadine has told the girls she doesn’t want to walk the red carpet or be a part of the Brits tonight so she didn’t fly back. Simple as that. "She’s thrown tonight’s appearance into a complete spin. It was supposed to be Cheryl Cole’s big first night out since the Ashley scandal - but instead it’s all about Nadine. "She’s with her parents in LA. Everyone’s in panic mode - Nadine was due to be there. She’s professional at all times. They think she’s walked out on the band." The reporting on this website is getting worse. This article makes no sense to me at all. Coyle told the girls they're in panic mode? They think she's left although she's told them she's not going? I don't know. I think there may be some truth in the article to be honest. The excuse for 'losing her passport' is almost as bad as 'the dog ate my homework'

i dont think she has left the band, but maybe she didnt want to attend the BRITS, as they have been "snubbed" by them for 5 years

It's not the acrticle, it's its meaning - it contradicts itself and I think it's just to make a story out fo nothing.

Nadine's the only talented one IMO. Not sure how well she'd do as a solo artist though.

I don t blame Nadine, the Brits is just a meaningless
media creation, an excuse for a big booze and drug up The music scene really ended at the end of the 70s In the early 80s Duran Duran appeared with Simon le Bon The video age had begun, suddenly the visuals were more important than the music the pop industry became all image and no substance It was around then we really knew it was all over ! Nadine will pack up Girls aloud and go into TV presenting ..........she could become the next Cilla Black ! |

I think Nadine would be better off trying out a solo career, but make sure she does not rush it. I would like to see her be successful as a solo artist, because she is very talented, but she needs decent material. |

its not easy going solo,
theres a mysterious power in numbers, the spices tried going solo but none of them really took off I think they ll just get back together every 10 years and earn of few million each for their trouble. By 2020 we could all be into Granny Spice But Girls Aloud are different, they are not world famous and they did nt break America like the spices did They went on a visit to Australia and did a couple of TV shows out there, but nothing happened, they are big in the UK and thats it. Once they break up its curtains, and they all know it. I think if Nadine leaves, they ll get a replacement Wot about Amee Kearsley ? the girl who missed out by an eyelash when girls aloud were put together... I bet she d jump at the chance. . |
