I'm embarrassed to be honest, that this is the season that gets shown over here...the couples twist sucks, the way the housemates interact and just go off on one all the time sucks, I honestly felt like I was watching BBUK tonight, bitching bitching bitching, fighting fighting fighting. There's not a decent player in there, I had thought that Josh, James and Chelsia seemed to be the only ones playing it smart and keeping their heads down, but all 3 made dumb moves and were involved in fights tonight. It's like...either these people were chosen because they are emotional idiots, or the 'soul mates' twist has gone to their heads and they really think they are in there to find love and forget the game.

I am glad Jen went though, she was reminding me more and more of whinge face Danielle BB8 with her damed arrogance and sense of entitlement.

Hi redmond... I am aware that this show pales compared to previous series... bt I am still enjoying it.

Bascially... that so many of them treat it as a no-hold barred game, but just as many are unsure how far too take it and when to hold back... it's all about judgment and trying ti understand what other HMs limits are imo...

I also like the fact that the US camera teams don't feel the need to objectify the contestants and that the editing and camerawork is solely game-related.

It also seems to be solely money-driven and not 'celebrity' seeking... although I maybe wrong?

Cool, I was just interested to see what aspects you liked and you're the same as me, I love the no-holds barred game play aspect of it. You'd love previous seasons, the game play in this season is absolutely awful compared to seasons passed. Everyone this year is playing too emotionally and not strategically, there is no proper plan, it's all very, right here-right now.

If you really like the game play I'd say check out BB2 and BB3, both amazing seasons with some of the best players in BB history.

This season could still get better I hope, BB8 didn't really start picking up until around Week 3/4. The first couple of weeks all that Mrs Robinson Allinace bullcrap was going down...ugh. So yeah, I still have hopes that people pick up their game this season, Allison I think has potential.


Daniele was a whiner but not overly cocky, I wasn't a big Daniele fan last season but she backed her self up by winning HOH's and POV's all the time, the most wins in any season for one houseguest.

First time watching BBUSA on E4+1. OMG they are so all so coniving and bitchy. I really like it!! Was this the first eviction? What is the prize? So happy that Jen has gone.

I am surprised at how good it is too, as there is no public vote they don't hold back and say what they feel about each other..they need to have no public vote in BB9 it would be so much better to see how they play the game!
It would never happen though, Davina needs her eviction crowds to gurn at.

Well I think BBUK should be kept the same, because thats what makes it special, public vote, crowd etc... However, they could shake it up a bit, give more power to the housemates, and allow them to escape eviction. Like Power of Veto would be great, it would allow a lot more gameplaing, and still maintain the public vote.

I have yet to see anything that excites me. The show seems so devoid of passion and therefore I can see nothing that BBUK can take from it.

Like I said I think they are 2 different shows. I love both of them , I dont think BBUK should change that much, but I think they could incorporate the power of veto, that would make it exciting, if hated housemates could escape!

I'm really enjoying watching on E4 but I'm reading the spoiler thread too. I find that with only 3 shows a week you need to keep up inbetween!

how does POV work? if Matt and Nat saved Jen and PArker who would Ryan and Alison been up against?

If the POV is used, then the head of household (in this case Alex and Amanda) gets to pick another couple to go on the block in their place.

I think Parker and Alsion were smart players but let down by the Ryan Jen relationship. Alison was never gonna tell, she just threatened to because she wanted to run the foursome.
