The nomination for eviction process
FriendlyGoat

I remember them doing the nominations live last year, I remember then going into the diary room one after the other and casting a vote during the eviction show..

Did that happen or am I imagining it? Why aren't they doing that this year or was that for something else?

Yeah, they did all eviction votes live last year, but the years before they have waited until the halfway point / when the jury starts for the live voting.

Sometimes they do them live, sometimes they pre-tape them. I guess it has something to do with time constraints, when you do stuff live you never know how long it could take.

can i just jump in and ask how POV works. If nat and matt had used pov and saved jen and parker who would then be up against ryan and alison or do they just leave automatically with no opposition?

If Matt and Natalie had used the power of veto, the HOH couple (Alex / Amanda) would have to have nominated another couple to take their place. However, they would be unable to choose the veto winners, so the only couples they could nominate as a replacement would be James/Chelsea, Jacob/Sharon or Sheila/Adam.
