Due for release in the first half of this year, and I'm really excited! >> Can't believe I'm admitting to this btw.

The songs sound like future classics!

Yeh, I always liked Coldplay...The Scientist was a fave but I really got into X&Y , an album that elevated the band into a true stadium outfit. Its been a long wait but I am looking forward to the new album after the lads took a break - always better to pace yourself thatn be tempted to go for a quick follow up to a multi-million smash. From what I've read the new album has about 20 songs written - from which the final track list wil get picked - no filler. Oh, and Eno's on board so look forward to a change in direction - hopefully an evolution rather than an outright departure from the sound they have developed.

I'm also looking forward to it - It might be the next full album I buy.

Sneakily looking forward to this. I'm hoping for good things simply because Brian Eno's been involved. His work with U2 has been fantastic (think the Passengers album as a prime example)

I loved all 3 albums (not sure about the unsigned stuff they did), but I HATED Speed of Sound, although I can see its radio friendly >> good for release.
