Probably shouldn't have looked, but it doesn't spoil it for me as the performances are my favourite part of the show, and it's still reasonably early on

I never liked Amy (although I haven't heard her performance from this week yet) so I'm not disappointed about her, same goes for Joanne although I'm slightly more surprised as they often like their shriekers, lol

Not too surprised about Garrett and Colton although I thought Luke and Chikezie were weaker. Garrett and Colton's performances were solid but neither of them could have won.

Glad there haven't been any nasty shocks so far this year.....hope there are none to come

Yep, I thought there were 3 or maybe 4 in the top 24 last year - although in the end I was happy with the final 3 and my favourite overall won, which is unusual for me.

Glad the trend hasn't started early this year though

I reckon Amanda will make the top 12 - hope so too. I could see her in the top few, but her departure would be just the sort that Idol love - especially her departure over someone who was seemingly less of a contender, if that makes sense
